The Lakehead University recruitment office needed an Ipad application that they could take on the road. It needed to be easy to use as well as have the ability to work without WiFi in certain situations.  Design and Logic created an App that could receive prospective student information via the Ipads local database and as soon as the Ipad picks up WiFi it pushes that information to the main central database.  It is a hybrid piece of software that utilizes local and cloud services. The things we considered were

1. Branding - We needed to implement the University Brand and colors into the small real estate of an Ipad App.
2. Security - We needed to implement security both on the local level and cloud level.  We achieved this by using secure logins and other measures that I can’t really say ;) 
3. WiFi Detection - We needed the app to be smart enough to find a wifi connection and let the user know.  Once the wifi is picked up the App has the ability to push the info to any server the DBA chooses.

These are just a few of the many unique and robust features that Design and Logic implemented in this exciting App!
